Instructor Bios:

Note: Our instructors are our most valuable resource. We list them by their initials only to reduce poaching attempts by our competitors.

Instructor 1 - NN:

Mr. NN has a breadth of experience with Cisco and Juniper technologies. He holds three CCIEs in Security, Service Provider, and Route/Switch. His real-world experience includes regular contract engagements with Canada's second largest telecom service provider designing complex multi-vendor routing/MPLS VPN solutions. He also has real-world experience deploying cutting edge 802.16/WiMax services for a service provider in the Caribbean. Mr. NN delivers training primarily in English, but can also deliver training in French and Arabic.

Instructor 2 - RS:

Mr. RS holds two CCIEs in Security and Route/Switch. He is a well respected trainer within Cisco and has trained many of Cisco's internal engineers who have achieved the CCIE certification. Mr. RS has taught in over 100 cities across 20 countries in three different languages. His real-world experience spans Cisco, IBM, Microsoft, VMWare and Bluecoat product sets. His system integration experience makes him one of our most valuable assets for both consulting and customized multi-vendor training engagaments.

Instructor 3 - KP:

Mr. KP is our "pioneer" instructor. He is a CCIE in Route/Switch and also holds the CCSP (Security), CCVP (Voice), and CCNP-Wireless certifications. Mr. KP delivered what was literally the first Cisco Voice over IP course outside of Cisco and developed the first run labs for most of Cisco's security training curriculum. He worked for Cisco in the mid 90s and regularly consults with Cisco channel partners on how to best position themselves for future growth opportunities. His real-world engagements currently consist of Cisco Unified Communications support contracts and wireless consulting in the health care industry.

Instructor 4 - GJ:

Mr. GJ is our primary instructor for our Spanish speaking clients. He is a CCIE in Route/Switch and also holds the CCNP-Wireless and CCIP (Service Provider) certifications. He delivers training throughout Latin America and Spain on a regular basis and also delivers training in Portuguese (Brazil) and English. His real-world experience most recently includes engagements with Nokia and Siemens helping rebuild telecom networks in Argentina following the earthquakes there.

Instructor 5 - RN:

Mr. RN is a senior Cisco instructor with real-world experience in large-scale Optical, IP/MPLS, MPLS VPN, and EoMPLS deployments for both the financial (Wachovia) and government sectors. He is a CCIE in Route/Switch and has also authored and reviewed books for Cisco Press and Cisco's own internal staff. Mr. RN delivers courses primarily in English, but can also deliver courses in Spanish.

Instructor 6 - DD:

Mrs. DD is a veteran instructor in the Cisco training business. She is a CCIE in Route/Switch and also a Cisco Press author. Although she spends most of her time in a successful consulting practice focused on the Cisco channel partner market around Washington, DC, our clients occasionally benefit from her real-world experience through both training and consulting opportunities.

Instructor 7 - YX:

Mr. YZ is a dual CCIE in Route/Switch and Service Provider. His real-world experience comes from managing a 30,000+ node network for a major university/medical center. Mr. YZ is a Unix expert who also holds the designation of SCSA - Sun Certified System Administrator and has extensive experience with large data center / SAN design.

Instructor 8 - MR:

Mr. MR is our resident security expert whose real-world experience comes from working in the Cisco TAC. There is no better Cisco certified instructor in the business for ASA and VPN training. Even our own CCIE Security instructors sit in his class to learn the ASA better! Mr. MR is also a Citrix certified instructor and also has extensive experience with the Checkpoint NG firewalls.

Instructor 9 - RB:

Mr. RB is a senior Cisco and Microsoft trainer with extensive experience in Cisco voice applications. He holds his CCVP (Voice) certification and also teaches the CCNP curriculum. His real-world experience includes not only Cisco LAN switching and voice applications, but also IBM Storage Manager SANs. Mr. RB is based out of Ontario and serves many of our Canadian customers.

Instructor 10 - SD:

Mr. SD is a Cisco instructor for our CCNA and CCNP level curriculum. During his 10 years at Global Knowledge, he taught subjects like TCP/IP, Ethernet, ATM, and telecom fundamentals to those new to the computer networking business. He is an expert at making complex concepts clear to networking newcomers. Mr. SD is currently assisting the US Postal Service with their wireless LAN roll out - rumored to be the largest Cisco wireless deployment in the world. In addition to Cisco WCS and Cisco site survey experience, Mr. SD also utilizes the Ekahau product suite in his consulting practice.
