I have a request to send calls to an alternate mailbox. That is, when callers dial x2914 and the call is not answered, it should land in mailbox 2931.
To do this, I created a new Voice Mail Profile called 2931 with a description of "Send call to x2931 mailbox".
It has the same Voice Mail Pilot as the default profile, but a Voice Mail Box Mask of 2931.
I then assigned Voice Mail Profile 2931 to extension 2914.
Is that the proper way to divert the calls to a different mailbox?
Is there a better way to do it?

We are in need of a way to stream line the agent login process to are call queue.
We would like the agents to press one button that prompts for ID and password then logs them into the call queue and sets their agent status to ready.

I have written a service for the one button login, but it seems switching the agent to ready status is tricky.

Any direction would be appreciated.

Some time ago I attended a Cisco Call Manager demo, and was told that the E-911 could identify the location in the building by floors if each floor used a different subnet. The implication was that the subnet was the basis of identifying the floor the phone was on.
Is that still possible? What programming is necessary to make it work?

The PVDM3 modules that were released recently have 4x the capacity of the biggest PVDM2 chips. PVDM3-256 can do 256 G.711 calls and can do 64 people in a G.711 conference - versus 64 calls and 10 ppl in a conference max for the PVDM2-64. I think you can only use them in the new ISR g2 routers, though - because they are a larger form factor... the PVDM2 chips require an adapter to fit in the PVDM3 slots.

Cant wait to see if they will be able to do video conferencing on these new powerful chips!
